This 10cm long blade is part of the Victorinox coloured collection, which is a great value package of extremely sharp, durable knives. This blade has a normal straight edge and a handle made of synthetic material. It's low maintenance and dishwasher-friendly, and it guarantees high edge retention - this won't become blunt for a long time. A paring knife is amongst the most important kitchen utensils a chef can have because it's small and sharp enough to do delicate work no other knife can. You can use this to create intricate cuts and inspired garnishing or sophisticated decorating. Other than that paring knives are ideal for removing peels or the veins of a shrimp, but also for de-seeding fruits and vegetables easily.
