I would recommend the shoes, they are light & comfortable, and look very smart.
A good walking shoe, even for a lady!

BAD:
Shoes gave me blisters. Top Lace krimp broke on first time worn. Middelburg Mall did not want me to replace shoes with other shoes. Shoes is extremely tight. Stitching at the heel inside digs into your heel. Have to hot steam and wear with 2 x socks to wear shoe in, this takes about 2 days. The "tongue" still grinds into my foot.

GOOD: These shoes are hard! Proper thick leather. Medium sole but very grippy. Comfortable when the shoes are worn in. Good strong laces. Im guessing these shoes last a good couple of years. Formal/Rugged appearance. The sole does not separate from shoe at all. They do stretch for foot contour after plenty of wearing. They are the strongest sneakers on the market in my opinion.

Conclusion:
These shoes where made to last and be strong. They are not made to be comfortable.

Shoes are durable and comfortable.

Purchased in Nov 2020, I wear them almost daily in the rough bush of Tanzania. They feel like a well fitting comfortable pair of gloves on my feet. I have had foot surgery in the past and most well known brand names are quite uncomfortable on my feet, but these shoes are extremely comfortable to wear for extended periods. I have already purchased another pair, waiting for me to collect when next back in RSA.

Great shoe, tough and my last pair of same, lasted me 3 years and a lace has finally stripped. I still wear the old pair on days with rough machinery work is involved.

So far happy with my shoes and purchasing from Cape Union Mart.

One of the best footwear I have owned in a long time. I walk 3 to 5 km in the hot, rough Bush almost every day in these, and my feet are still happy at the end of the day. Outstanding value for money.
