I am so impressed with these boots, bought them about 3 months ago in preparation for the Fish River Canyon hiking trail , I wore them in on a few Drakensberg hikes , and then did the fish river which is a 5 day hike , extremely comfortable , excellent grip on rocks and good ankle support , no blisters , they are just amazing and they are such good looking boots as well . Highly recommend this product!

Bought these yesterday, and absolutely love them, but when I fitted it again, I saw that there are gaps between the middle part and the outer parts of the shoe that supports the ankle even after I tightend it. Is this normal? I think that it might affect the efficiency of the waterproof feature.
Hi fellow shopper. That's how I felt at first about my shoes. I even wanted to stretch the middle parts to cover the gaps which is not possible 😕 I even felt as if I should have bought a bigger size and even doubted the efficiency of the waterproof, until I went out on a rainy day wearing them. Then that's when I figured that's the made of the shoes😁
Do they have inner steel covers by the toes ?
Yes. I’d suggest you size up 1x if you’ll be rock climbing (hurt my toe climbing down)
Do we need to size up on these?
I didn't have to, very comfortable in my regular size (UK 7). PS The waterproofing is excellent. I have stepped in a running stream a few times and my socks have been bone dry
Has anyone hiked in these over rocks?
Hi there yes I have, they are slippery on wet rocks, I hiked in them for the first time and bailed on a rock, but it was wet and covered in moss.
But on dry surfaces they are very comfortable and supportive.
It was my first time wearing them so the soles were still very smooth.
