I wear a M down jacket and I believe it feels more snug as a consequence of the puffy down in it. This jacket has the space because there is no poof so I think you can go with your usual size. Also has the clips to loosen at back. Its always a bit of a gamble but I'm not sure going larger is needed.

You would need thermals under the coat to w the cold but it’s a great over coat with wind protection. It’s lightweight but sturdy.
I’ve throughly enjoyed mine this winter.

Ohhh yes it is. The whole Arm and inside of the body part is a fleecy material.
I also thought at start i would have to wear something warm underneath. Nope just a shirt. The one time i did put on like a jersey. but quickly got too warm.

The M fitting is much the same for the puffer jacket and the soft shell jacket. The main difference is the soft shell jacket has waist shaping, unlike the puffer jacket which has no waist shaping.
