About the drone 

The Mini 4 Pro is portable and easy to fly, weighing only 239g. The intelligent flight battery allows you to fly for up to 34 minutes and create more content. Upgrade to the intelligent flight battery plus for an extra-long 45-minute maximum flight time. The Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing system and Advanced Pilot Assistant System (APAS), wide-angle and downward vision sensors constantly detect objects in all directions and bypass them quickly and smoothly.

With a transmission distance of up to 20 km, you can fly farther with clear footage. And, thanks to the Smart, Low Battery, and Failsafe Return to Home (RTH) functions, you can rest assured that your drone will always find its way back to you. The cruise control function allows the drone to fly in any direction without having to press the joysticks, making long-distance flying simple.

About the camera

The 1/2.54 cm Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) sensor, Dual Native ISO Fusion, and f/1.7 aperture allow you to capture high-quality and vibrant images. The 10-bit Dlog-M colour profile lets you capture sharp and vibrant videos in low light while immersing yourself in the hues of your surroundings. Spotlight, Point of Interest, and the revolutionary new ActiveTrack360 with enhanced subject-tracking capabilities are three simple ways to get the shots you want with the Mini 4 Pro.

The DJI Remote Control 2 includes four antennas as well as a 14-cm display screen that allows you to see what you're recording. It has a 3-hour battery life and a 1.5-hour charging time, allowing you to spend more time creating. It also has 32GB of internal storage.

SA Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) general flight guidelines:

• Fly the drone at least 50 m away from any roads or people.
• No flying at night or in any nature reserves.
• Drones weighing more than 7 kg or flying higher than 120 m require a permit.
• A drone must be flown within line of sight.

There will no flying in restricted areas, such as:

• Near a manned aircraft.
• In Airspaces that are controlled, restricted, or prohibited.

Please note: 

• Negligent drone operation may result in fines and prosecution by SAPS.
• If you want to use your drone for commercial purposes, you'll need a Remote Pilots License (RPL) as well as a Remote Operating Certificate (ROC).

Charging someone for your services without the above may result in a large fine from the SACAA and SAPS.
